I had just come home from
another tedious day at the university, very tired from all the school work, the
hassle travelling back home and not to mention the burden of the thought that
there is much to do the next days. As I came to sit here in my comfort zone of
writing, I suddenly realized that being tired and having something to do are
rewards that we constantly fail to acknowledge. Wait, what? First, let us list
down the main reasons why we get so exhausted, I get weary because I have
something to do, I endure the struggle of waiting for a vehicle because I have
the capacity to pay, I have things to do because I have goals in need of
accomplishment, etc. See, despite the physical feelings of drowsiness our body
feels, our soul leaps in pride and contentment because deep inside we know that
we have done better today than the previous moments. Being tired is a feeling
that comes and goes, but if you just try to relax and relive what your day has
become of, you will always apprehend that there is always something that you
have achieved and even a slightest aspect you have improved on.
Before you take a good night’s rest, I encourage you to
pray the prayer that always helps me remember why my purpose is more important
than my bodily and emotional sensations.
Feast Declaration of Abundance
by Bro. Bo Sanchez
Today, I receive all of God’s love for me.
Today I open myself to the unbounded limitless, overflowing
abundance of God’s universe.
Today, I open myself to God’s blessings, healing and
Today, I open myself to God’s Word so that I become more like
Jesus every day.
Today, I proclaim I’m God’s Beloved,
I’m God’s Servant,
I’m God’s Powerful Champion
And because I am blessed,
I am blessing the world,
In Jesus Name,
Then as you close your satisfied eyelids, whisper, Amen.
