Sunday’s Blessings

“The
Noblest Art is of making others happy.”

–
P.T. Barnum

“Happiness
should be your ultimate goal in life.”

–
Bro. Arun Gogna (in Post Valentine Feast Talk PM Session)

I
had just watched the Greatest Showman film a day ago, it was amazing, the movie
gave me the exact unexplainable amazement I felt when I had seen Cirque du
Soleil” Worlds Away, 6 years ago. P.T. Barnum, played by Hugh Jackman, stunned
us once again, like we had seen him as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables as he
performed through song and dance. Aside from the incontestable fact that we envy
Barnum’s stage confidence and presence, we had learned two important virtues from
the circus man, “The true smiles of the
audience are the performers’ goal, beyond any penny earned.”
and “No matter how far you had gone throughout
the long day, the family is our only haven when the sun sets.”

In
the Circus of Life, we are all the performers and audience of an act that goes
as far as we can go. The best thing we could reward ourselves with and the
people around is by finding a reason to keep going on with the difficulties of
life. We could never spread happiness and feel happy if we ourselves couldn’t
manage to upturn the frown etched on our faces. It is a truly noble act to teach
an ill tempered person to curve his lips and show his/ her teeth on a regular
basis, but is even a nobler deed to make Happiness as your primary aim in life.
Happiness and Success are two inseparable feelings, because one without the
other is called, “emptiness”. Smile,
though your heart is breaking, because we never know when we would be given the
next chance to do it again, so take this chance.
